If you’re looking for a Gatsby-inspired prom dress, you have to check out this gorgeous MacDuggal prom dress! It might be one of our favorite prom 2014 dresses we’ve seen so far!
This dress features a super deep v-neck and nude-colored sequins galore! If you’re looking for something that’s inspired by the twenties and art deco, this dress would be perfect! (Another bonus: keep it in your closet – you’ll probably find many other opportunities to wear a dress such as this since it doesn’t really scream “prom”!)

How gorgeous is this coral/grapefruit/maroon gown? If you’re looking for something a little unexpected this may be the perfect prom dress!
It has the peek-a-boo area at the belly, and the back is cut out as well. The long sheer skirt features two thigh-high slits so you’ll have plenty of room to dance.
You can find this pretty prom dress at ModCloth for $99.99.
We’ve got a contender for our favorite prom dress so far! We are loving this Hailey Logan Pleated Chiffon High/Low Gown, which is currently available at Nordstrom.
We love the bold blue color and the high low hemline. We also love the woven bodice, and that the back is open except for a mesh pane.
Not a fan of the blue? It’s also available in blush and a very similar style (though not identical) is available in black.
Whew. After a short break we’re back with today’s Prom Dress of the Day!
If you want all eyes on you at your prom, red is definitely the way to go, and we love this Scala Cleo Collar Scoop Back Dress because not only is it bright, but it is covered in sparkles, has a fun leg-slit for when you want to do the Angelina Jolie leg, and while it’s pretty modest in the front, has a super fun scoop neck back.

This light blue one shoulder prom dress from Terani Couture is so pretty! It almost reminds me of the dress Cinderella wore to the ball!
We’d pair this prom dress with a pair of silver shoes and, like the model above, keep the jewelry fairly minimal to let that gorgeous bodice shine!
This is Terani Couture Style P1639.
